The production of silicone handles first requires the selection of silicone materials, which are divided into liquid silicone and solid silicone. The specific silicone material should be chosen according to the product‘s requirements. Liquid silicone is suitable for injection molding, while solid silicone is suitable for rolling molding. The specific production process is as follows:
1、 Mold making
The production of silicone handles requires a mold, which is usually made by CNC machines or manual carving. When making molds, precision adjustments and strengthening of protruding parts are necessary to ensure the subsequent production process.
2、 Silicone mixture
Silicone handles need to be mixed with silicone raw materials that meet the requirements, and the mixing of silicone requires attention to controlling the proportion, temperature, and time. Generally speaking, only uniformly mixed silicone can ensure product quality.
3、 Injection molding
The mixed silicone will be molded through an injection molding machine. Injection molding machines usually inject silicone into pre made molds, and after high-pressure and high-temperature processing, the injection molding machine will thoroughly flow the silicone into every corner of the mold until it completely fills the cavity formed by the mold. The surface of silicone handles usually has some uneven details that require manual adjustment.
4、 Subsequent processing
After the silicone handle is formed, post-processing is also required to ensure that the surface of the product is smooth and flawless, as well as has good anti slip effect. Post processing includes steps such as removing mold residues, trimming surfaces, drying, and conducting quality inspections.
Overall, the production process of silicone handles is complex, requiring the selection of suitable silicone raw materials and strict control of the quality of each production link to ensure excellent product quality.
